Absolutely must watch! 

 I'm not too enthusiastic about moving to other planets having trashed this one. I think we need to prove that we can be good stewards of this planet, restore equilibrium, restore the environment and the eco-systems first. In fact, I think this is humanity's critical juncture where we prove to the broader galactic community that we can actually develop a complex civilization that is essentially a symbosis of technosis and nature. Our prospects for survival on this planet, as much as we've trashed it, are much higher than on Mars or any other planet within this system. Reaching an earth like planet in Alpha Centauri without the reverse engineered spacefaring (think: teleportation, worm holes, folding the fabric of space time over the craft) that our actual Shadow Govt has at their disposal is not possible. This is where I differ from Jones and Co. who believe in a "pro human future". They say that we need to "Drill baby drill" when the wanton disregard for the bedrock ecosystems that support life got us into this very conundrum of having essentially turned vast swathes of pristine wilderness here in North America into literal Wal-Mart parking lots connected by free-ways where we all were told it was our right to "have a chicken in every pot" and every family their own private clown car. This is not and never was sustainable. So before we go and wreck other planets how about we re-examine our current way of living.
