A lot of pertinent issues were touched on in today's broadcast of democracynow.org: the Patriot Act, Israel's influence in American politics, corporate person-hood and the Citizens United ruling, and the utter idiocy of the Republican Party.

Although democracynow.org covers these issues, they dance around the truth of 9/11 and dont ever mention the foremost motive for its orchestration: geo-strategic maneuvering around what remains of the worlds energy reserves and establishing an authoritarian police state at home to prepare for massive insurrection in the face of economic collapse and yet to be experienced food shortages and infrastructure failures.

This is the actual purpose of the Patriot Act, and the "terrorists" are the common man, the 95% of Americans experiencing increasing levels of poverty and privation. This is the latest phase of evolution of this "Invoke External Threat" model, it started with the Red Scare, and now it is the Muslim Jihad, and next, if civilization doesnt collapse rapidly, it will be the Alien threat. The foregoing is very well established and defensible, but what remains a mystery are unknowns to which the mass of humanity may sense if only intuitively, other possibilities that the "elites" may be preparing for:

Id like consider myself mostly rational, but with the timing of the myriad natural catastrophes coinciding with global economic collapse, global political insurrection, and heightened geo-political tensions, it is challenging to not ponder whether or not there is something to not just Mayan Prophecy but also the Hopi and Hindu and yes possibly even the largely misinterpreted and distorted Christian prophecy ( "Go forth and multiply, (White) Man has dominion over the Earth!" Admittedly, I constantly ridicule mainstream Christianity which is now largely a perverted form of socio-political control and manipulation; yet there used to exist Gnosticism, a spiritual form of Christianity that held more in common with eastern spiritual philosophy than the frivolous contemporary forms that assault our spiritual "common sense" such as Prosperity Theology with their idiotic theories such as Creationism.
