Podcast recommend: Evolving Ideas

To any and all followers of this blog, I apologize for a lack of blog updates, I am in the process of transcribing, word for word, the first chapter of Lewis Mumford's "The Myth of the Machine vol. 1, Technics and Human Development", a slow and tedious process (it took me an hour to reproduce the first 4 pages or so) which unlike my previous reading excerpts cannot be found online at all.

I just finished listening to both of the following episodes of "Evolving Ideas" and found them to be complimentary of each other and extremely stimulating and furthering the discussion of where we are as a whole and where we are going and how we can consciously create a better world, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Bruce Lipton also co-authored a book that gets into the subject matter of the podcast, namely his rejection of genetic determinism and that the task before humanity of consciously evolving to a new state of being is both possible now that the old paradigm's are fracturing and with our physical survival threatened but not inevitable without our active participation. Highly Recommended.

I have yet to read Joe Dispenza's Evolve Your Brain: The Science of Changing Your Mind but have put it in my reading queue, which is becoming quite extensive. It looks very interesting, I ordered a copy. 


There are some amazing radio shows on PRN, not to be confused NPR, that corporate/state (or Fascist to simplify political reality) controlled outlet that tries and mostly succeeds in casting itself as an alternative, liberal oriented media entity.

I enjoy "The Lifeboat Hour", "Expanding Mind", "Evolving Ideas","Explorations with Michio Kaku", "Truth and Freedom", and "The News Dissector" so far, but I have explored a few others and they are mostly all very good. 


Gary Null is the owner of PRN and has some really unorthodox ideas, like a countervailing theory that HIV was manufactured in a lab, an idea that I dont find implausible:
