I first encountered Dr. Gabor Mate's work in a docu-film, Zeitgeist Moving Forward. This is recommended listening for anyone who is interested in getting at the root of our more pressing converging crises, which as Dr. Mate rightly posits, is largely the product of the way we perceive and relate to reality. This is an important topic that is one of the central themes of this blog, the evolution of consciousness.
