When I was in High School, between the ages of 14 and 16, I looked forward to Friday evenings, not because I would be going to parties and getting drunk like the vast majority of the people I knew in High School at that time, but because the X-Files would be airing that evening.

 
I was home schooled until the age of 9, there was no sodium fluoride in our water (catchment, Hawaii, not added to public water supply until the late 90's), my mother was a counter culturalist (the genetic component) and possessed genius level intellect. I was forced to exercise outside (my adoptive parents, the Pervinklers, had a massive 15 foot trampoline in the backyard overlooking a coffee farm in rural Hawaii.)

    

Our nearest neighbors were about half a mile away. I spent most of my childhood outdoors.

 
I was a straight A student all the way through school, I then scored so high on the ASVAB (113 GT score) that any job in the Army was available to me. Rather than joining the infantry, the MOS I chose was highly technical: 68S Aircraft Armament Missile System Repairman. My AIT was 9 months long. I was trained to work on weapon and avionic sub-systems for two different aircraft.

 
I went through nearly 9 years of Active Duty without any UCMJ action but never had any desire to assume authority over others. (See Stanford Prison Experiment, now that I'm out I can see how this desire for control over others afflicts so many, fortunately not I).

I don't know why I'm revealing this. Maybe someone out there is wondering why or how I can see through the bullshit.

 
Baseline higher than average intelligence, borderline creative genius, homeschooled for half of my formative years, no fluoride exposure during childhood cognitive development, no conventional vaccines until joining the service, genetic component of rebelliousness from my mother.
